Empirical Research on Enterprise Structure when Market Orientation Established in Xiamen City

Taking Xiamen enterprises as an example and basing on the theory of market orientation, the author constructs an indicator system to measure the degree of market orientation. With cluster analysis and canonical discriminant function, this paper researches on enterprise market orientation type and its influencing factors. The results indicated that as for Xiamen enterprises, there are three forms of market orientation. First, leading market orientation; Second, comprehensive market orientation which is the combination of leading and responsive market orientation; Third, low-level responsive market orientation. And it is the influence of market environment that leads to the different forms of enterprise market orientation.
