The Statistic and Analysis of Road Traffic Accident in Shandong Province
The characters of time when traffic accident happens are studied by using statistic methods to analyze some road traffic accident data in Shandong province. From the analysis of yearly, monthly, weekly, hourly time distribution of road traffic accident (RTA), this paper draws the conclusion that the total of RTA goes down gradually and it has evident seasonal variation. The RTA on weekend is relatively less. The peak hour of accident appears 10∶00~12∶00 and 14∶00~16∶00 in day time and the peak period of death appears 19∶00~21∶00 at night. The conclusion of this study has guidance role for how to make and take effective engineering and management measures to improve the level of the road traffic.
