Empirical Research on the Contribution of Standard to Chinese Economic Growth
Standard plays an important role in the community. Considering Chinas reality, on the basis of drawing lessons from relevant quantitative study of Germany and U.K, this paper establishes the econometric model to measure the contribution of standard to economic development. Results indicate the elastic coefficient of standard is 0.0935, which means the number of national standards increasing 1% will lead to real GDP increase approximate 0.0935% if remaining other unchanged,. The average annual growth rate for the Chinese standards is around 10% in recent years, according to this, the contribution of standard to real GDP is about 0.935%.
