Prediction of Liaoning ports’ Throughput Capacity Based on Partial Least–Square (PLS) Method

摘要：

A multiple independent and dependent variables regression modeling using Partial Least– Square (PLS) method was established with international standards ( software SPSS) for the prediction of the container throughput capacity of Liaoning’s ports. This method can ignore the negative effect of multicollinearity, and reasonably explains the correlations between independent variables, providing a rational allocation of resources and solid development guidelines for the future.
