Study on China’s Population Prediction Based on GA-BP and Metabolic Model
This paper established the GA-BP model by the BP neural network improved by GA, and China population prediction model based on GA-BP and metabolic model was also constructed by the introduction of metabolic model. Finally, by the use of yearly net value-added of 1980-1999 and through software programming in MATLAB6.5, yearly population size of 2000-2007 was predicted and compared with the values predicted by other methods. The results indicate that the population prediction model based on GA-BP and metabolic model is an effective method of population prediction.
