Research on the Income Gap between Urban and Rural Areas in Shandong Province Based on ARMA Model

The widening gap between urban and rural income is a serious problem in Chinas construction of a harmonious society procedure. Through building a model of ARMA,using Shandong province for example, the author carried out a statistical analysis of the income gap between urban and rural areas in Shandong Province, got the conclusion that urban-rural income gap would continue to expand in the short term, to reduce the income gap between urban and rural income, we must start with the income itself, do everything possible to increase the income of farmers, using the advantages the policies, and firm to the construction of “Urban for Rural.
