Efficient Inference on Quadratic Finite Population Function for Complez Surveys
In this paper, our primary aim is to use a model-calibrated pseudo-empirical likelihood method for efficient inference on quadratic finite population when complete auxiliary information is available. We show that the model-calibrated pseudo-empirical likelihood estimator is asymptotically equivalent to the Hajek estimator, and formulate an alternative pseudo-empirical log-likelihood that allows for a simple adjustment for the design-effect. The asymptotic properties of pseudo-empirical log-likelihood ratio function are also established.
