Quantitative Relation Analysis between Tourist Industry and Economic Growth of Sichuan Province

In the recent years, the tourism of Sichuan has been rapidly developed and made great strides forward to the pillar industry. At the same time, the economy of Sichuan has presented in the good tendency. The relations between the tourism development and the economic growth are closer and closer, and it has gradually become the hot spot that the academic circles study. According to the statistical year’s data of Sichuan from 1998 to 2006, the paper discusses the quantitative relation between tourist industry and the economic growth of Sichuan by using the correlation analysis, regression analysis and elasticity analysis. Finally it provides some valuable advice.
