Optimization of Eztraction of Ursolic Acid in Residues of Hawthorn Leaves (Carteagus Pinnatifida) by Response Surface Methodology
Response surface methodology was used to optimize of ursolic acid extraction from residues of hawthorn leaves. The influence factors of soaking time, ultrasound wave power and ultrasound assistant extraction time were evaluated using a fractional factorial design. From the response surface contour plots and from the quadratic regression model equation. The optimal extraction conditions were as following: soaking time 120min, ultrasound wave power 190W and ultrasound assistant extraction time 25min.The maximum extraction was carried out as the optimum condition and extraction yield was obtained as 0.41%.
