Road of Telecom Reformation in China – Rates Competition and Market Structure Research based on Panel Data Co-integration Theory
This paper, Based on the pane data cointegration theory in the econometrics, through the setting of measurement model, using mathematical analysis of the influence on the Telecom price competition behavior to the market structure, and researching on the role of the price competition behavior to the market structure. The study shows China current telecom market is not a typical oligopolistic market, but of new features of noncooperation price competition; Noncooperation price competition also reflects that competitive market pattern expected by China telecom industry several separations and reorganizations has formed, and the marketization reform in telecom market has yielded results.
