Research on Adjustment and Positioning of Urban Workers’ Minimum Wages

Based on the Shenzhen’s minimum wages adjustment formula, the multiple regression method was used to screen variables for determining the affecting degree of the variables. After the weight coefficients of the variables were calculated, a modified formula which is more appropriate for Shanghai was presented. The final result shows that average wage growth rate is the major affecting factor of minimum wages adjustment mechanism.
