Study on Neck Clustering and Dimensions Specification in Garment Industry based on Young Guy Statistical Data
This research carries on non-touched anthropometric measurement to 200 male university students through the advanced human scanner of three-dimension. 8 measurements relevant to neck are drawn considering the necessary measurements in Pattern design of fashion collar, and then corresponding categorized indexes are analyzed and proposed. And this research also utilizes SPSS software to carry on clusters analysis to the sample, and then subdivides young mans neck into 7 kinds; values of intermediate of every neck type and stepping values of every measurement are calculated. So young mans neck measurements specification series are made up and this series will provide more reference measurements to the structure design of man’s fashion collar and can be used to serve the made-up of specification series of man’s wear and the production of ready-to-wear.
