Analysis on the Factors that Affect Agricultural Pollution in Shan Dong Province
This paper establishes an index system in the perspective of farmers’ operation behavior to measure the factors that affect agricultural pollution and calculates the share of each factor by drawing on data during 2002-2007, and two methods—the dispersion method and varying coefficient method. We find that: forestry, especially protection-aimed and scattered tree-planting activities play an vital role in preventing agricultural pollution, maintaining and improving agricultural eco-economic system; among the most important sources of air, soil and water pollution are as follows: too much fertilizer, insecticide and farming plastic film are used in farming process; a great amount of poultry manure is produced in animal husbandry ,particularly the large scale livestock-raising industry; too large a quantity of fry and fish food is pooled in a limited water area.
