Correlation Analysis of Economic Growth with Cultivated Land Change in Guangdong Province in Recent 20 years
With the Sustained high-speed economic development in Guangdong Province in recent 20 years, the shortage of cultivated land resource has become an important constraint of sustainable economic and social development .Based on the statistical data from 1987 to 2005, and using the statistical analysis methods, we analyzed the dynamic changing relation between the cultivated land and economic growth in Guangdong Province. That is, the area of cultivated land has an exponential decrease trend with the increase of GDP and has an exponential negative relationship with FI. If we want to achieve the coordination between the rapid economic growth and the cultivated land protection, we must to promote the land saving economic growth, comprehensively implement the system of paid use of land, reinforce land restoration and land rearrangement, increase the supply of cultivated land, and strengthening the legal protection of cultivated land.
