Study on the Relationship between Housing Price and Urban Residents Income in China
This paper uses the co-integration technology, ECM, impulse response function, variance decomposition to analyze the long-run equilibrium relationship between housing price and urban residents’ income. The empirical results suggest that there is the evidence of long-run equilibrium relationship; for a short period of time, China’s urban residents’ income has a strong impact on housing price, basically promoting in the positive direction; for a long period of time, the impact of its standard deviation information on housing price is more obvious and more stable.
