An Empirical Study on Human Capital’s Contribution to Economic Growth
Since USA economist T. Schults proposed modern Human Capital concept in 1960s, men have recognized its significant role in national economic development more and more clearly. Following T.Schults human capital mainly form from investment in education; In order to measure how much human capital devotion to economic growth rate, many Sino-foreign scholars measured human capital’s contribution derived from education with all kinds of methods. However besides education, work experience also is an important factor. This paper use Solow professor’s aggregate production function approach to measure and analyze empirically human capital including education and experience contribution to economic growth rate. Meanwhile according to the conclusion, this paper too proposes some policy view in human capital investment.
