Preparation and properties of silica fiber reinforced dielectric ceramic matriz composites
Nitride ceramics with excellent high temperature dielectric properties, such as boron nitride and silicon nitride, have become the requisite for the hypersonic aircraft. In this paper, a preceramic polymer, hybrid polyborosilazane was synthesized from borazine and perhydropolysilazane, and silica fiber reinforced nitride composite materials were prepared through vacuum infiltration of polymer and pyrolysis under inert atmosphere. The mechanical properties, microstructures and dielectric properties of the composites were investigated. The results show that the composites have good mechanical properties, the flexural strength is 148.2 MPa, and the elastic modulus is 41.5 GPa. The dielectric properties of the composites are excellent, the dielectric constant is 3.31, and the loss tangent is 3.8 × 10-3.
