THE EFFECT OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP ON INNOVATION PERFORMANCE OF R&D TEAM: KNOWLEDGE SHARING AND INTEGRATION AS MEDIATORS
R&D (Research and Development) team is currently used for technology innovation by more and more enterprises. This paper analyzed the effect of transformational leadership on innovation performance of R&D team and its mechanism with knowledge sharing and integration as mediators. Using the statistics method of structural equation modeling, we found from the survey data of 316 R&D samples that transformational leadership has positive effect on teams innovation performance via knowledge sharing and integration. Finally, we discussed the conclusions and implication for practical management, and some possible directions for future research were also put forward.
