AN EMPIRICAL STUDY ON CORPORATE ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND CORPORATE PERFORMANCE UNDER CONTINGENT ENVIRONMENTAL AFFECTION

Corporate Entrepreneurship has become a significant strategic means for large corporations to increase their competitiveness and achieve innovative products. Based on the review of relevant literature, the present paper intends to create a theoretical framework in terms of dynamic environment-corporate entrepreneurship- corporate performance for big enterprises in China. Four significant hypotheses are then proposed. Through a large scaled survey of 256 enterprises with questionnaires and interviews in the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta, an empirical study was carried out to examine the effective supports of the hypotheses. Finally we manage to explore the internal logics and entrepreneurship mechanisms
