NETWORK AS ANTECEDENT OF CORPORATE ENTREPRENEURSHIP
This paper studies the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and director network in incumbent firms from the perspective of strategic entrepreneurship. A typology of venturing, innovation and strategic renewal is used for corporate entrepreneurial actions. The roles of director network, business versus institutional, in corporate entrepreneurship was examined. The findings suggest that business network is positively related to all three corporate entrepreneurial actions, while institutional network is not.
