Hermitian and Real-positive solutions to the equations az=c and zb=d in C*-algebras
In this paper, equations ax = c and xb = d in C*-algebras are considered. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of hermitian and real-positive solutions are obtained. Formulae for the general forms of these solutions are presented. In addition, we also discuss the common solutions to the equations ax = c and xb = d.
