Matriz Pade-Type Approzimation via the Formal Orthogonal Polynomials
A kind of matrix Padé-type approximant via the formal orthogonal polynomials (MPTAVOP) is introduced on the polynomial space. This method can be applied to approximate a sequence of matrix such as matrix exponential. The method of MPTAVOP is not only effective for accelerating the convergence of a sequence of matrix but also has a simpler and more convenient computation process.
