Coarse Embeddings and Cohomology of Heisenberg Group
In this paper, by using functions conditionally of negative type, we study the relationship between the coarse embeddability and cohomology of topological group G. We obtain that a topological group G with word length metric admits a coarse embedding into a Hilbert space and sup g∈G (l(g))=∞,then H1 (G,π)≠0 for some orthogonal representation π of G. By applying these result to integer Heisenberg group, we get that H1 (G,π)=0 for some orthogonal representation π of integer Heisenberg group H.
