The Classification of Magic Squares of Order Four

It is well known that there are 7040 different magic squares of order four, which have 880 basic forms under the transformation group of order 8.In this paper, we show that there is a transformation group of order 32, under which we can divide the 880 basic forms into 220 classes; furthermore, the magic square with special properties are mainly developed, and the groups of 192 and 384 order are presented. The classification of the special magic squares is also considered.
