Tripotence Preserving Linear Maps on Real Quaternion Self-Conjugate Matriz Space

Let R and Q be the field of all real numbers and the real quatemion division ringrespectively and SCn (Q) be the set of all nxn self-conjugate matrices overQ. HomR (ω1,ω2 ) denotes the set of all linear maps from spaceo ω1 to space ω2 over R. A mapL∈HomR(SCn(Q),M,,(Q))is called a tripotence preserver if L(A) is tripotent for every tripotent matrix A∈SCn(Q). This paper gives a characterization of above L.
