Idempotency of linear combinations of idempotent martices

摘要：

Let R be a principal ideal domain of characteristic 2. The purpose of this paper is to characterize all situations in which a linear combination of idempotent martices (two or three) over R is also an idempotent martix. It generalized the corresponding results over complex field C.
