Eigenvalues problem for the real symmetric tridiagonal matrices with constant diagonal

摘要：

In this paper, the eigenvalue problem for the symmetric tridiagonal matrices with constant diagonals is considered. It has been shown that the eigenvalue problem for this kind of matrices is equivalent to the eigenvalue problem of real symmetric tridiagonal matrices of half order.
