K-Groups of Two Kinds of Algebras
In this paper, we discuss the commutative algebra of matrix and give a new similarity theorem of matrices by using the ordered K-group of the commutative algebra of matrix as an invariant. The theorem is equivalent to the Jordan form Theorem. In the paper, we compute the K0 -group of the algebra A(D) =f:f is analytic in the open disk D and continuous in the D . Then we discuss the properties of the adjoint operator T of unilateral shift, prove that T is a strongly irreducible Cowen-Douglas operator, and compute the K0 -group of the commutative algebra of T.
