Finite Groups of 2×2 Matrices over Gaussian Integral Domain

摘要：

In this paper, all possible orders of elements in SL(2,Zi) are determined and it is shown that SL(2,Zi) has no finite subgroup of order 16. Furthermore, an upper bound for the orders of all finite subgroups of SL(2,Zi) (also GL(2,Zi)) is obtained.
