Another Elementary Proof of the Stability Criterion of Lienard and Chipart
Hurwitz polynomial plays an important role in control theory and stability theory .The author firstly gives the concept of a finite positive sequence and the polynomials of first and second kind with repect to a positive sequence. Using the generators of a real positive definite Hankel matrice, this paper gives a new necessary and sufficient condition for a polynomial to be Hurwitz polynomial, a simple proof of the stability criterion of Lienard and Chipart can be obtained.
