Mazimal rank of a partial banded block quaternion matriz ezpression subject to linear matriz equations

摘要：

We in this paper investigate the maximal rank of a 3×3 partial banded block matrix M(X,Y)subject to the consistent systems (1.2) and (1.3). The result can be used to establish the equivalent solvability between quadratic matrix equations and linear matrix equations.
