Image Registration Method Based on Coordinates Matriz of Star Image Centroid

Global motion exists in the sequential images which shooting from CCD camera in star observation due to the posture change of CCD camera. We first select the centroid of a star as feature point to detect the star image, then use feature point search-matching algorithm to reject noise and highlighted star. Finally, the image is transformed into star image centroid coordinates matrix, and global motion parameters are used to deal with star image centroid coordinates matrix. The registration operation of star images is converted to the operation of star image centroid coordinates matrix, and the sequence star iamges registration is realized.
