A Model Study on the Influence of Super-Large-Scale Transport Projects to Regional Economic Development:Taking Taizhou Yangtze River Highway Bridge as an Ezample
Urbanization and globalization has promoted the rapid development of the worlds major citiesregionalization.Large-scale transport facilities have become the main channel between different regions.Studies about regional influence of large-scale transport projects in china now generally use the static method to conduct qualitative research. As for the traffic facilities under construction and proposed, there are few researches about their regional socioeconomic influence. As Chinas Yangtze River Delta region carries out regional expansion through continuous cross-Yangtze River Bridge construction, this paper studies the possible impact on regional economic development of the Taizhou Yangtze River Highway Bridge after its construction.Based on the GIS spatial analysis and multivariate statistical analysis methods,we try to use the accessibility as a breakthrough point. After determination of time-distance range, this paper conducts spatial quantitative analysis and forecasting of the possible impacts through the establishment of traffic-economy intensity model.Study of this paper can provide reference to the further development plan of regions which are influenced by Large-scale transport facilities.
