EFFECT OF FLY ASH ON THE STRESS-STRAIN BEHAVIOR OF SELF-COMPACTING CONCRETE
Self-compacting concrete(SCC) is increasingly being used day by day as a structural material. In this paper, according to the uniaxial compressive testing of the SCC with different content of fly ash, the stress-strain relationship of SCC and the effect of seven fly ash(FA) levels and two curing ages(7 and 28 days) on the stress-strain behavior are analyzed. The results shows that the stress peak of SCC decreases with the increasing content of fly ash and decreasing curing age. Based on the experimental results , the formula for the stress-strain relationship of SCC is suggested and verified by numerical simulation.
