Compact High-Performance Current Transducer
An improved isolated current measuring transducer is presented; the design of the magnetic circuit and the coil formers enabling the reduction in mounting height is discussed. The input conductors were designed to satisfy modularity, late differentiation and good differential mode performance requirements. Finally, the optimization of the electrical shield to obtain simultaneously good immunity against transient common mode voltages and low overshoot is discussed.
