New Transfer-Molded IPMs for Partial Switching PFC
This paper presents a new series of Dual In-line Package Intelligent Power Modules designed for PFC (Power Factor Correction) circuit based on a partial switching operation concept. The new DIPIPMTM series with the built-in partial switching function realized by use of the 5th generation full gate CSTBTTM, a newly refined process based ASICs (HVIC/LVIC), and a newly developed high-performance type insulation sheet / aluminium heat sink structure.
