The Influence of Psychological Capital toward Learning Organization Disciplines

We are now living in the knowledge economy era where human beings,as a resource to raise the organizations knowledge,have the potentials to build the learning organization.Henceforth,it is necessary for us to have learning organizations,as such organization will have the ability for creating,acquiring,and transferring knowledge,from a workers knowledge to modifying its behavior to reflect new knowledge as a virtual capital 6.The quality of learning organization is influenced by quality of employees.This research used Psychology Capital (PsyCap) as an indicator to identify employee positive behavior at work.Psy-Cap is part of psychological science which studying factors of the strength and advantages of human mental in developing positive behavior through daily life and to reach wellbeing in his/her life.To prove this concept,an empirical research in Indonesian Electric Company was conducted,to understand the influence of PsyCap dependent variables toward the Learning Organization disciplines independent variables.Multiple regressions analysis was used to examine the model.Results indicated that each of Learning Organization disciplines need special PsyCap to develop in Indonesian Klectric Company.Self Kfficacy has not significant influence to all of Learning Organization disciplines,and Optimism is a good predictor to develop Model Mental,Shared Vision,System Thinking and Team Learning disciplines.Hope and Resiliency is good predictor to develop Personal Mastery discipline.
