Green IT Initiatives by Five Economies

摘要：

IT products consume huge amounts of energy,contributing to the emission of CO2.On the other hand,IT has a great potential to make a remarkable contribution to reducing energy consumption as well as CO2 emission.Against this backdrop,advanced nations are making every effort to reduce CO2 emissions by utilizing IT.Moreover,they are exerting efforts to develop technologies and policies to eliminate CO2 emitted by IT services.This article looks into Green IT initiatives employed by the five major advanced nations.
