Trade & Protectionism:China and India
Protectionism, what does it mean for China and India? As China looks to protectionism to take the heat of its economy,anti-dumping laws are becoming the tool of choice to prevent foreign producers from competing in domestic markets.India,on the other hand is opening its doors to foreign investors. In a perfect world there would be free trade without subsidizing industries;however, that is not the case:or is it? Recently China and India have been working together to remove trade barriers and possibly change their views of protectionism. This paper will discuss the practice of trade barriers and protectionism.
