Opportunities and Challenges for Indias Fast Food Market

Given the popularity of quick service or fast food restaurant chains in the Indian sub-continent,this study attempted to analyze the growth potential and challenges faced by multinational food companies.The findings reveal that in order to be successful,many foreign fast food companies have to form joint ventures,respect local culture and traditions,localize and customize their menus,introduce value strategy,use local ingredients and produce,redesign their supply chain system,and reposition their products and services to appeal to the Indian consumer.
