Chinese Entrepreneurialism as Self-Organizing Systems

This paper describes an empirical investigation of the process of voluntary learning and organizational knowledge creation within Chinese entrepreneurial firms in Indonesia,focusing on entrepreneurs strategic actions in capitalizing their wulun- and guanxi-based social networks as a strategy for creating a ba 1,a shared mental or physical space or epistcmological platform for enhancing individual and collective knowledge.This ba enables individuals to self-actualize their inner capacities through selforganization. The study is based on Chinese sociocultural values,believed to be the key root cause of the economic success of Overseas Chinese in Southeast Asian countries,including in Indonesia 2.
