Research on Mechanism of the Work Group Diversity to Groups Performance
As diversity has become a fact of the organizational life,work group diversity management become one of the imminent problems in the era of globalization,However,the current research about the impact of diversity on the performance is not consistent.This article discusses the mechanism of how diversity influence the performance of the organization,and points out that work group diversity will enhance or reduce the performance of organization depends on the interaction of salience of diversity with openness to experience of the work group,as well as the information elaboration of the organization as an intermediary variables.And at last,the article put forward practical implications.
