Impact of Classroom Technologies on Learner Attitude-A Preliminary Post Implementation Study

The key question that was addressed in this paper was the effect of class room technologies on students learning attitude in the early post-implementation phase (taken as one year after implementation).The antecedents considered relevant were (i) experience with basic Information and Communication Technologies (ii) enhanced communications,(iii) learner independence and (iv) ease of classroom technology use.The results indicated a positive and significant relationship between (i) learner independence and individual learning attitude,(ii) enhanced communications and individual learning attitude and (iii) ease of technology use and individual learning attitude.However the relationship between Information & Communication Technologies (ICTs) experience and individual learning attitude was nonsignificant.In general,the study outcome implicated that use of classroom technologies,during introductory stage,does increase with the degree of perceived ease of use and extended capability for self-directed learning by utilizing channels that enhance communication and information flows.
