Consumers Behaviors and Their Perceptions of Quality of Life:Does Culture Matter?
This paper investigates how culture and demographic characteristics affect quality of life.Data were collected from students in Qatar University for the reason of convenience and because the theoretical constructs are relatively new.The results show that both culture and demographic characteristics affect consumers behaviors and perceptions of quality of life.Through MANCOVA,the paper concludes that age has the most effects,and income,gender,and birthplace have the least effect.Managerial and research implications of the study are also discussed.
