Risks and Limitations of ICT Usage (Based on Virtual Teamwork Online Training Ezperience)
The general attitude to ICT usage in education and business practice is mostly positive at present.The paper focuses to the problems of ICT usage and its potential risks and limitations.The paper is based on my personal experience with virtual teamwork online training and qualitative research of feedback from participants.Therefore this note is on e-communication and interaction via the internet first of all.Over several years of virtual teamwork training,significant development has taken place in learning and teaching methods.The development of new social software,new applications with enhanced social interaction and social communication,Web2.0 and now Web3.0 all demonstrate the huge effort that has gone into improving the quality of work via ICT and the internet.The general positive impacts of ICT development and digitalisation will be discussed in this note,as will some concrete negative impacts from the perspective of virtual teamwork training and research thereto.
