Restructuring Chinas Business Groups:Restructuring Scope,Restructuring Scale and Performance
Business groups prevail as an organizational form of industry throughout the world.This paper explores the relationship between restructuring scale,restructuring scope and performance by taking as sample of 294 public business groups in china,and testing and analyzing the data using logistic regression analysis and multiple regression analysis.The empirical results indicate:the restructuring performance of Chinese business groups is not significant correlation to restructuring scope and restructuring scale.Conversely,the performance of larger proportion of Chinese business groups gets even worse.Corporate restructuring is a focus problem in strategy researching field.Over the years,the Chinas business group have made great development,such as the expanding scale of operation and the increasing influence in economic.But there are some problems that can not be ignored,such as small-scale,low efficiency,etc.With the increasing of restructuring scale and the number of corporate to carry on restructure,the problem of how these business group in China optimize the resource to achieve their development through the way of restructuring is very necessary study.Therefore,focusing on the restructuring of Chinas business group,this paper attempts to explore issues related to:1.the impact factors of the chinas business groups restructuring.2.the role of the restructuring scale and restructuring scope to Chinas business groups.
