SLOPE STABILITY ANALYSIS ON THE BASE OF MONITORING RESULTS; CASE STUDY: SUNGUN WASTE DUMPS, IRAN

摘要：

Monitoring in waste dumps in Sungun copper mine is very important. The importance reasons are: critical condition such as Pakhir River, dumping systems, waste materials and history of failures in dumps. In this monitoring were selected observation method on the base of survey mapping and tension crack mapping. In this method designed based and secondary points in each dump. During in 27 months recorded all displacements and seismic phenomenon. All initial data analyzed with statistical methods, then was drew displacement curves and anticipation of critical times in each period. Finally determined behavior parameters of dumping materials and modeled by SLIDE software for determine safety factor.
