AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON ENGINEER BEHAVIOR OF HIGHLY WEATHERED AND ABUNDANT GRANITE AQUIFER

摘要：

Based on the shallow mining excavation of Xiamen airport road, this paper studies the mineral content, mechanics character and water stability of the highly weathered granite, using the methods of in-site observation and soil test. The results show that the water stability of strongly weathered granite was instability; and its shear strength has a relationship with the water content. This study has direct significance on controlling the strum displacement when constructing underground engineering.
