VISUAL PROGRAMM BASED ON GENERAL BLOCK THEORY
There are a lot of irregular rock blocks that are cut by discontinuous planes in the rock mass, destabilization of which could lead to disaster. So it is necessary to predict amount, extent, shape and position of key blocks according to known data of fractures during the design phases. Block theory is a kind of well-developed method, which is used for analyzing stability of rock mass in recent years. Block theory could resolve some problems as follow: Distinction of blocks, Mobility discretion of blocks and stability analysis of blocks. At the present time, distinction of block is a key link of the block theorys development. There are lots of methods for the link, but a majority of which are really difficult to achieve for computer program 1. This paper introduces the program (GeoSMA-3D) that author develops and its implementation procedure is emphasis.
