Optical image encryption scheme based on multiple-parameter random fractional Fourier transform

A new method for image encryption with multiple-parameter random fractional Fourier transform (MPRFrFT) is presented. By randomizing the transform kernel of the basic function from multiple-parameter fractional Fourier transform, MPRFrFT inherits the excellent mathematical properties of the fractional Fourier transform. The proposed MPRFrFT image encryption algorithm includes five parameters, i.e., keys. An optical realization for MPRFrFT image encryption is provided. Simulation results verify the feasibility and superior robustness to blind decryption of the method.
